IMMOFINANZ celebrates topping-out ceremony for the office and hotel tower on the Wienerberg

The renovation work for the new office and hotel tower at the myhive location on the Wienerberg is proceeding on schedule: IMMOFINANZ celebrated the topping-out ceremony yesterday, Tuesday, together with district representatives, the architects HOLZBAUER & PARTNER, the future hotel operator NOVUM Hospitality and the general contractor BÖHM Stadtbaumeister.

The renovation and conversion of the existing office building with roughly 12,600 sqm into the myhive am Wienerberg started during the first quarter of 2018. The installation of the new, elegant facade structure – which will transform the building into a further eye-catcher for the Wienerberg’s high-rise silhouette – is currently in progress. The hotel lobby connects to the adjoining shopping center on the ground floor, the hotel rooms will be installed on floors 8 to 21 and the other areas – six floors in total – will be outfitted as modern offices. The hotel will be operated by NOVUM Hospitality as the Holiday Inn Vienna-South and will have 201 rooms. The opening is scheduled for late summer 2019.

The highlights of this hotel and office high-rise include a panorama business restaurant on the 22nd floor as well as the lobby, an open area at the center of the Holiday Inn Hotel, where guests can work in an inviting atmosphere or enjoy their free time in the heart of the hotel. The Holiday Inn will also include a 90 sqm conference room. The “Konferenzzentrum twelve“, which is located near the myhive am Wienerberg, is an ideal setting for congresses, seminars and events of all sizes.

The myhive am Wienerberg with its roughly 167,000 sqm of rentable space is one of the largest office and commercial locations in Vienna.
